Australia Awards Scholarships are prestigious international awards offered by the Australian Government to the next generation of global leaders to obtain a Masters or PhD from an Australian tertiary institution. The Scholarships have been an important component of the Australian Government’s aid program in Indonesia since 1953. The prestigious Australia Awards Scholarships aim to achieve a balance across female and male scholars and encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds. The Scholarships are available to all Indonesians with the potential to contribute positively to sustainable development in their country. The Scholarships also support the Equity Target Groups, aiming to overcome access barriers and reflect the development priorities of both governments. The groups comprise people with disability, women from a disadvantaged background and those from equity target provinces.

When applying online, all essential supporting documents must be uploaded on the online application form (Cognito form) to meet the specific requirements for Indonesia.
