We are pleased to announce the call for applications to participate in the 2024 ProSPER.Net Young Researchers’ School (YRS). This year’s YRS will be held from 16 to 22 December 2024 in Colombo and Kandy, Sri Lanka, under the theme “Building Resilience: Integrating Nature-Based Solutions for Climate Change Mitigation.”
The 2024 YRS provides a unique opportunity for young scholars to explore innovative, nature-based approaches to climate change mitigation. Aligned with the principles of Action for Climate Empowerment (ACE) under the UNFCCC, the program aims to empower participants to contribute to global efforts in reducing GHG emissions, enhancing resilience, and promoting sustainable development. It will also foster synergy and knowledge exchange among participants, offering avenues for interdisciplinary research collaboration and action through interactive sessions, panel discussions, and workshops.
Osaka University International Certificate Program (OUICP) is an interactive, hybrid educational program consisting of both online and study abroad courses that makes effective use of Osaka University (OU) ASEAN Campuses. Carried out over the course of 9~10 months, OUICP (Outbound) sends Osaka University students to study at one of OU ASEAN Campuses, while OUICP (Inbound) invites students from OU ASEAN Campuses for a short-term study abroad experience at Osaka University. Osaka University issues a certificate upon successful completion of the program on a specific field with 6 to 8 credits.
Farmasi UGM – Fakultas Farmasi Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) mengadakan Pharmacy Career Expo (Pharex) 2024 dengan tema “Charting Opportunities and Maximizing Potential.” Acara ini berlangsung di Grha Sabha Pramana pada 10-11 Agustus 2024 untuk memberikan platform bagi mahasiswa dan lulusan baru untuk mengeksplorasi berbagai peluang karir di industri farmasi.
Acara ini secara resmi dibuka oleh Prof. Dr.rer.nat. apt. Endang Lukitaningsih, M.Si., Wakil Dekan Bidang Keuangan, Aset, dan Sumber Daya Manusia Fakultas Farmasi UGM. Didampingi oleh apt. Anna Wahyuni W., M.P.H., Ph.D, Kaprodi Program Studi Profesi Apoteker, Dr. apt. Hilda Ismail, M.Si., Koordinator Industri dan Alat Kesehatan, serta Prof. Dr. apt. Ika Puspita Sari, S.Si., M.Si., Direktur Keuangan dan Administrasi Umum, Rumah Sakit Akademik UGM, Prof. Endang membuka kegiatan Pharex 2024. Dalam sambutannya, ia menekankan pentingnya pengetahuan dunia kerja untuk menunjang pengembangan karir di bidang farmasi. “Melalui kegiatan ini harapannya dapat membuka peluang yang besar untuk lulusan-lulusan Farmasi,” ujarnya.
